Dan began his career in the financial services sector over three decades ago, serving in a variety of senior executive roles with commercial banks, mortgage banks, thrifts, and investment banks.
Prior to joining Greif & Co., Dan was vice president of accounting for a multi-billion-dollar financial institution in Michigan, CFO of an Ohio-based commercial bank and a partner at Los Angeles-based Tatum Inc. providing interim CFO services. As a managing director with Kemper Securities, Inc. in Chicago, he raised both public and private equity and debt for small and large cap companies. Previously, he was managing director of mergers & acquisitions for Imperial Credit Industries, Inc., where he sourced, negotiated and closed many add-on financial services acquisitions for the company including a roll-up of the auto auction industry. Dan also served as a managing director for regional investment banking firm Rodman & Renshaw, specializing in cross-border merger, acquisition and structured finance transactions in Latin America; President, CEO and CFO of a large commercial finance company; and CFO of a publicly-traded mortgage banking company.
Dan holds a B.A. from Walsh College in Michigan, an MBA from Aspen University in Colorado and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of California.
